Rocket.Chat integration

Rocket.Chat notifications post to a channel using an incoming webhook. Available since Checkmate v3.11.0.

Create the Rocket.Chat webhook

1. In Rocket.Chat, open Administration → Workspace → Integrations.
2. Click New and pick Incoming.
3. Enable the integration, give it a name, and set Post to Channel to the channel that should receive alerts.
4. Click Save, then copy the generated Webhook URL.

Add the notification in Checkmate

1. Open Notifications in the sidebar.
2. Click Create notification.
3. Pick Rocket.Chat as the type.
4. Give it a name and paste the webhook URL in the Address field.
5. Click Test to post a sample message, then Save.

Attach the notification to a monitor from the monitor's configure screen. Alerts arrive as attachments with the monitor name, status, and a link to the monitor.
