Matrix integration

Matrix notifications post to a room using a bot account's access token.

What you need

• Homeserver URL (for example, https://matrix.org).
• A room ID (the internal !roomId:server form, not the alias).
• An access token for a user that has joined the room.

Add the notification in Checkmate

1. Open Notifications in the sidebar.
2. Click Create notification and pick Matrix.
3. Fill in the Homeserver URL, Room ID, and Access Token fields. All three are required.
4. Click Test to post a sample message, then Save.
