Incident timeline

Tracking start, duration, and resolution.

Overview

The incident detail dialog shows each event tied to an incident and how long it lasted.

Fields on an incident

  • startTime — timestamp of the first failed check
  • endTime — timestamp of the recovery check, or when someone resolved manually
  • status — true while active, false once resolved
  • statusCode / message — last failure code and message (HTTP monitors)
  • resolutionTypeautomatic or manual
  • resolvedBy / resolvedByEmail — user who resolved it (manual only)
  • comment — optional note added when resolving manually

Duration

Duration is endTime − startTime. Active incidents show elapsed time from startTime to now. The summary view aggregates these into an average resolution time in hours.
