Overview
PageSpeed monitors track website performance using Google Lighthouse. They measure loading speed, accessibility, SEO, and best practices to help you optimize your sites.
Creating a PageSpeed monitor
- Navigate to PageSpeed in the sidebar
- Click Create monitor
- Enter the URL to monitor
- Set the check frequency (daily recommended)
- Click Create monitor
Configuration options
- URL: The page to analyze (must be publicly accessible)
- Display name: Optional friendly name for the monitor
- Check frequency: How often to run audits (3 min to 1 week)
PageSpeed checks use Google's PageSpeed Insights API. Configure an API key in Settings → PageSpeed for higher rate limits.
